The Beech tree is known as the “Mother of the Forest”. There will likely be one large mother tree with a large patch of young clones. A tall tree with distinctive smooth, pliable, gray bark, Beech trees scar easily and are unable to heal themselves. This is why carvings in its bark such as initials will remain.

Beech creates a very attractive light toned floor with straight grain and subtly uniform texture. There is an attractive interplay of warm pink and creamy vanilla hues. As hard as Oak and extremely durable, Beech makes an excellent choice for distinctive flooring.

CountryPlank.com offers Beech flooring in two grades and styles. We can also apply custom surface treatments to your Beech floor including a variety of distressed looks or hand scraping on the edges and ends.
