How To Order

HOW TO ORDER SAMPLES:

Actually seeing a piece or two of what appeals to you in a photograph is an important step in the process of buying plank flooring, as it is in most things. We are therefore happy to send samples of up to three choices at no charge, via Priority Mail. Additional samples and/or faster shipping will result in a charge – we accept checks, MC, VISA, Discover and American Express. Each sample consists of 2 pieces, typically 4″ wide and 9″ long. This allows us to best represent the range of character, color and texture inherent in each species and/or grade and allows you ample quantity to help guide your decision and on which to experiment with stains or finishes. Keep in mind that every board in a plank floor is different, as in all of nature, and while we try very hard to accurately represent the variety in a particular species and grade, please refer to the grade description and photographs, as well as the sample, to get the most complete picture.

If there will be a charge, due to quantity or mailing method, please call us with your payment method, and, we’ll send your samples out as quickly as possible.

HOW TO ORDER FLOORING:

Please call or email us with any questions, such as aesthetic or performance comparisons – or concerns, such as lead times and shipping charges, during your decision making process. We are anxious to share our over 20 years experience in solid plank flooring with you. Written quotes for materials and shipping are valid for 30 days. Otherwise, prices are subject to change without notice – particularly shipping charges.

When you are ready to place an order for our plank flooring, please also call us at the number at the bottom left of this page. That enables us to answer any final questions and take all of the pertinent information in a secure fashion. Once we have all of the requisite information, we will email an Acknowledgment to you for your perusal. Please look it over carefully for accuracy and completeness and send us a confirmation. Once we’ve received your confirmation, and received or processed your deposit, if any, we will turn in the production order and the clock on the lead time will begin.

We take a 50% deposit on custom orders, such as rustic grades, wider widths, stair materials & custom surface treatments. Whether a deposit is required or not, final payment, including shipping is due prior to shipping your order. We take personal or business checks, MC, VISA, Discover and American Express for payment.

OUR TOTAL QUALITY WARRANTY:

All flooring is warranted against manufacturing defects for 30 days from the date of shipping, but, prior to installation. Manufacturing defects are defined as defects in material, milling or moisture content that render the board(s) as shipped, unfit for safe, functional flooring. It is our responsibility to provide properly graded, dried and milled flooring, but it is your responsibility to confirm that prior to installation! Any board(s) giving rise to a claim under this warranty, after inspection and approval, will be replaced free of charge. No contingent or collateral damage is covered. No other warranty expressed or implied exists and repair or replacement of the unfit board(s) is the sole remedy hereunder.

As wood is a beautiful product of nature; naturally occurring color, grain or character marks allowable within pertinent grading standards do not apply to this warranty. Please read the grading definitions carefully and request samples prior to placing your order.
